Cookies Policy

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you between pages and visits. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, let a site remember settings on your device. In this policy “cookies” covers both.

Strictly necessary — sign-in. When you sign in, our authentication provider, Supabase, stores your session in cookies whose names begin with sb-. They keep you signed in as you move between pages and let us check that you are allowed to see pages such as your dashboard and registration. They last until you sign out or the session expires. Without them you cannot sign in.

Strictly necessary — payments. When you reach the payment step of league registration, Stripe’s secure payment form loads from Stripe and may set its own cookies (such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) to prevent fraud and process your payment. These are set by Stripe, not by us, and are governed by Stripe’s cookie policy.

Device storage for tools. League officials using the live-scoring screen have a few per-game display settings (such as shirt colours) remembered in their browser’s local storage. This never leaves the device and is not used for visitors.

• Game highlights are hosted on YouTube. We show a thumbnail image, and the YouTube player loads — in its privacy-enhanced mode — only when you press play. Once it loads, YouTube may store information on your device under Google’s privacy policy.
• Google sign-in, if you choose it, takes you to Google, which uses its own cookies on its own pages.
• Our fonts are served from our own website, so loading a page does not contact a font provider.

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising or retargeting cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any cookie that follows you across other websites. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent before setting them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Because the cookies we set are strictly necessary, blocking them will stop you signing in or completing a payment, but you can still browse schedules, results, standings and other public pages.
